Tomato Festival
Booths will provide information about gardening, with Master Gardeners ready to answer questions about your garden pests and challenges. The Tomato Festival will feature tomato games and activities. Learn little known facts about tomatoes, enjoy taste testing 12 varieties of tomatoes, get recipe ideas, and enter the tomato growing contest. Bring your biggest or your weirdest tomato and maybe win a certificate and bragging rights!
Back again is the Little Shop of Garden Goods, with crafts and gardening materials of all kinds. Our popular Tomato Festival Cookbook will be on sale (we sold out last year). New this year is the Cruciferous Cookbook and Garden Guide, focused on heart-healthy veggies like kale, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, greens of every sort, plus many more. Visitors can also purchase home-grown produce and snacks such as chips/salsa and sundaes (cash, Zelle, or check only).
