SPRINGFLING: A Queer & Sober Social

We’re celebrating springtime and all that it offers - new beginnings, growth, warmer weather, longer days, and making new connections. Attendees are free to get festive by wearing green or their favorite pastels! We offer a social space for sober or sober-curious LGBTQ+ to create genuine, memorable connections and to build community. 3 hr social includes: -festive mocktails, refreshments, and snacks -plant & seed swap [bring a potted or bare root plant, new growth/propagation, or seeds to trade, like for like] -conversation starters/icebreakers -break out group discussions -interactive party games Suggestion Donation: $5-10 [cash, venmo & zelle available] Louisville Queer & Sober Social is a new non-profit that organizes social events for sober LGBTQ+ and gender non-confirming people outside of the drinking/drug scene. These events can be for anyone who identifies as sober, sober-curious, not drinking or using at the moment, just looking for a group that's not alcohol- or drug-focused, in recovery, a non-drinker or non-drug user, substance-free, or any other label they choose - the point is it's a SOBER space for anyone who identifies as LGBTQ+ and/or non-binary. This group and its events are not affiliated with any recovery program or model - it’s a social community for making genuine connections outside of the drinking/drug scene. We ask that you commit to being sober while at our events. We can't wait to meet you!
