This November, the community is coming together for something powerful — filled with hope, healing, and unity.
Join us for the Bridging Generations Youth Walk Extravaganza on Sunday, November 9th, from 1 to 5 PM at Sanction House Church, 3400 Greenwood Avenue.
This Youth Empowerment Walk and Celebration unites families, youth, and community leaders to take steps toward peace, opportunity, and change. Enjoy live performances, youth vendors, food baskets, gift giveaways, and youth entrepreneurs showcasing their talents and businesses — all while standing together against poverty and gun violence.
Youth are also encouraged to participate in our Essay and Open Mic Contests, giving them a creative platform to share their voices, stories, and dreams for a better future.
We’re inviting local businesses, churches, and community supporters to become sponsors or donors to help provide prizes, clothing gift cards, bikes, and food baskets for youth and families in need. Every contribution helps bridge generations and build a stronger, safer community.
For sponsorships or contest information, contact Umoja Soul Youth at 502-665-9057 or [email protected].
Together, we can empower youth, strengthen families, and honor the wisdom of the past while inspiring the leaders of tomorrow.
— Leora Jackson, Umoja Soul Youth Coordinator
