Lunchbox Learning: Esther Edwards Burr
Esther Edwards Burr (1732-58) was the daughter of theologian Jonathan Edwards, wife of the Rev. Aaron Burr Sr., pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Newark and president of the College of New Jersey (Princeton), and mother of Aaron Burr Jr. (yes, that Aaron Burr). She led a busy life and fortunately for us left a journal of the years 1754-57. Join us as we look at Esther's journal and learn about a prominent wife's life in colonial New Jersey.
