Aaron Burr Sr., pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Newark and president of the College of New Jersey (Princeton), and mother of Aaron Burr Jr. (yes, that Aaron Burr). She led a busy life and fortunately for us left a journal of the years 1754-57.
