Haunted Knox Walk

Did you know there are Ghosts at Fort Knox? There are! We've found them! Let the Fort Knox Middle High School Drama Club and the Fort Knox Spouses and Community Club take you on a tour around the Parade Field and historic housing as we show you where the Spirits of Fort Knox are haunting their way through the afterlife. This is a 1.2 mile walking tour beginning and ending at the Gazebo across from Brooks Field on Old Ironsides Avenue. The path will take you to the Johnson Neighborhood, around the Parade Field, past Quarter's One, and back to the starting point. The FKMHS Drama club will guide this tour and perform skits as they teach you about Knox's haunted history. There will be an opportunity for family portraits by the tank on Brooks Field and hot cocoa for all! Tours begin at 6:00 pm, and run every 15 minutes. The sun will set at 6:44 pm that evening so you get to decide if you want to visit the ghosts while there is still some daylight, or if it's dark outside. Tours last approximately 90 minutes. If you would like to honor a loved on that has passed, you may sponsor a luminaria to light the path along the Haunted Knox Walk. Please buy your tickets in advance, there is a limit of 20 guests per tour and spaces will fill up! Prices will also increase if you buy your ticket the day of the tour. All proceeds benefit for the Fort Knox Spouses and Community Club's Community Grants and Scholarship Programs.
