Zumba and Creative Dance Classes for Kids

Two new classes for kids on Fridays at the Marian Anderson Center in Graduate Hospital: Zumba (Zumbatomic) - This upbeat Zumba class is specially designed for youth ages 6 to 13. Participants will work up a sweat as they dance around the world to infectious Latin and International songs. No need to know any steps - just 'follow the leader.' 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. $10 drop-in or save by purchasing a multi-class pass. Creative Dance - Kids ages 3 to 5 will explore a variety of music and movement styles in this introductory dance class. Using games, stories and role-playing, children will learn to express themselves through the art of movement. Parents are encouraged to join in. Fridays at 3 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. $50 for a six-week series starting Oct. 15. Class will only be offered if there is enough interest. Call 215-645-2717 to sign up.
