Zen Painting Workshop

Join us for a two hour therapeutic Zen Painting class. We will be referencing photos as well as Zen Painting sources. You are welcome to bring your own references as well.
Zen is simplicity itself. Learn the importance of the quality of line and brushwork in black and gray watercolor instead of ink.
Calligraphy is the root of Zen Painting. We will practice brushstrokes by copying some calligraphy and incorporating zen quotes like, ‘What is the sound of one hand clapping?’ or ‘Be impervious to suffering.’
