Young Artist Studio Series: Ceramics (2nd to 8th grades)
This 6 week series is designed for young artists in grades 2nd to 8th who want to delve into and master the basics of a specific medium. Our teaching artists will guide students through the fundamentals of their chosen medium; fostering creativity and encouraging exploration.
In this studio series, participants will dive into the exciting world of ceramic sculpture by learning the basics of hand-building, glazing, and firing to create fun and exciting sculptural pieces. These classes have a flexible curriculum so teaching artists can adapt to the students needs. All levels welcome and all materials and firing fees included.
Class will meet weekly on Wednesday between 10:00-11:00 AM for grades 2-5 and 11:30 AM -12:30 PM for grades 6-8. Class dates are February 24, March 1, March 9, March 16, March 23, and March 30. The price for all 6 classes is $150.
