Writing in the Park

LitArts RI heads back to our old stomping grounds in downtown Providence to partner with local bookstore Symposium Books for a summer write-in! Join fellow creatives Sat, June 29 from 10am-1pm for an outdoor write-in at the newly renovated Grant's Block Park near Symposium in downtown Providence. Mingle with fellow writers, check out nearby coffee shops and restaurants and hunker down to write. When you’re ready to stretch your legs, browse Symposium shelves for more inspiration! Rain Date: Sun, June 30, 10am-1pm What to Bring -Chair or blanket (limited seating available) -Notebook or charged laptop -Writing utensil -Sunscreen -Water/beverage (no alcohol please) -Additional food & beverage available at nearby cafes and restaurants Location & Parking Grant's Block Park is located at the corner of Union and Westminster in downtown Providence. 260 Westminster St. Providence, RI 02903 Street parking available. Economical parking at Providence Place Mall (about a 10 minute walk). Accessibility Grant's Block and Sympoisum Books are wheelchair accessible.
