The Day celebrates migratory birds around the world. Piedras Marcadas Canyon trail is a flat, sandy hike with 400 petroglyphs visible. The hike is 1.5-miles roundtrip. No amenities available. Bring water, sunscreen, and wear comfortable hiking/walking shoes with good ankle support. Binoculars are recommended. Don't have any? Ask about borrowing a birding kit from your local library or at the start of the hike from the Ranger.
