Workshop: Single Sheet Accordion Zines
Artist’s books are an intersection of so many art forms: 2D, sculptural, time-based, interactive, and written. In this class, we’ll experiment with single sheet accordion folds to transform a two-dimensional print or image into a form with sequence and pacing. Participants will learn 3 methods for cutting a single sheet of paper into a book form, without needing to glue or sew.

Artist Instructor Bio:
Michelle Sharp (b. 1992) is an artist currently working in the Fox Valley area of Wisconsin. She works primarily in bookmaking arts, photography, and writing. Michelle is inspired by the mundane, acts of sharing & discovery, literature, and structured systems.
