“Women’s History Month: “Women telling their Stories” book event.
The primary objective of this event is to honor and celebrate the diverse voices of women authors, providing them with a platform to share their stories through their literary works. Participating authors include Ana Echevarria de Saquic, Margie Stuppard, Precious Clouthier, Thea Fielding-Lowe, Reverend Robyn Frye, Diana Garlington, Kou Nyan, Wendy Grossman, and Michelle Davidson.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with these talented authors through an all-female book fair, where they can explore and purchase a wide range of literary works. Additionally, the event will feature multiple author interviews, offering insights into the creative processes and inspirations behind their respective works.
A highlight of the event will be a live taping of the podcast "Christal Conversations," hosted by Diana Garlington, a renowned community activist, life coach, and author of "She Wasn't the One." "Christal Conversations" is dedicated to fostering meaningful discussions on issues prevalent within families and communities, with a mission to drive positive change through dialogue.
Adding to the enriching experience, Book are Wings will be providing free books for kindergarten to 12th-grade students, encouraging a love for reading and learning among the younger generation.
