WM Scrap Happy Kitchen @ Woodinville Farmers Market - Waste-free cooking demo, free compost bins
On Saturday, September 20, at the Woodinville Farmers Market, local waste experts from WM and Chef Martha Gamboa of Seattle’s Alexis Royal Sonesta Hotel are hosting the WM Scrap Happy Kitchen event series to teach Washington communities how to reduce food waste at home.
These events are scheduled at community farmers markets and festivals across King and Snohomish counties this September and October. Chef Martha will lead visitors through waste-free cooking demonstrations using produce and the most frequently tossed food items, while waste experts from WM teach proper composting and give tips to reduce food waste.
