The Wisconsin Flute Festival includes a great variety of workshops, lectures, masterclasses, performances, appropriate for participants of all ages. Bring your flute and join us for an exciting line-up including:
- Molly Barth, Grammy Award-winning flutist and Vanderbilt professor of flute will present a master class and performs at the 7:30 pm Finale Concert that is free and open to the public.
- PROJECT Trio, pushes the boundaries of traditional chamber music with their unique fusion of classical, jazz, hip-hop, and world music influences. Don't miss their BeatBox class as well as their captivating performance at 5 pm that is also free and open to the public
- Tilmann Dehnhard, an internationally-acclaimed composer, performer, and teacher presents a workshop on Circular Breathing, a recital, and a Soundpainting Workshop
- Cate Hummel explores Moyse’s 24 Little Melodic Studies and presents a recital, Solo Flute by Women Composers
- Laura Lentz sparks a sense of discovery with her new Modal Flute Warm Up book, as well as a recital of new flute & electronics music from the Landscapes of Norway
- Tatiana Pearson and Jenifer Minor, flutes with Catherine Fettig, piano in recital
- James Elliott Lynch demonstrates Chekhov Acting Techniques in Flute Performance
- Join Cristina Ballatori for a Flute Choir Reading Session
- Enjoy ensemble performances by Lawrence University, Madison Flute Club, Northern Illinois University, Verona Area Flutes and the WI Youth Symphony Orchestra (WYSO) Flute Choir
- Vendor exhibit hall!

The public is invited for PROJECT Trio's free 5 pm performance and the 7:30 pm Finale Concert which is also free and open to the public.
