Amanda Carpenter is an 18-year veteran of Washington, DC's dynamic food and beverage scene. Amanda Carpenter can do it all. She cut her teeth working in some of the city's most beloved neighborhood restaurants, eventually opening and serving as the Wine and Service Director of James Beard Award-winning, Bad Saint. Through her work with wine importer Native Selections, she shares the hard work and passion of small scale winemakers through tastings, winemaker tours, and other special events across the DMV. She has worked harvest, built wine lists, and run beverage education programs, all the while firmly grounded in her commitment to hospitality and community.
