Maestro Nakahara leads the ensemble in a diverse and thrilling program that concludes with Karel Husa’s powerful Music for Prague 1968, which memorializes the Soviet invasion of the Czech city. Doctoral conducting student Benjamin Pouncey will lead the ensemble in Re(new)al by Viet Cuong, a concerto for percussion quartet featuring USC School of Music students.
