Williamson 225: One County, Many Stories.

Williamson County Archives and Museum is proud to present Williamson 225: One County, Many Stories. This new exhibit at the County Museum is a celebration of the 225th anniversary of the founding of Franklin and Williamson County that highlights important stories shaping the development of our community. Planned in partnership with Visit Franklin, this exhibit introduces never-before-exhibited material from the County Archives' collection and offers visitors a fresh introduction to Williamson County history. Williamson County Archives and Museum is the county's first permanent history museum, dedicated exclusively to interpreting the people, events, and communities that shaped the development of Williamson County, TN. For over fifteen years, the Williamson County Museum has curated a permanent collection of local historical objects, thanks to the generous support of folks across the county. The museum is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and open seasonally on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (through October 26). Museum admission is free for all visitors.  Want to learn more about Williamson County?
