Please join the Santa Clara Valley Chapter of the California Native Plant Society at West Valley College on Saturday, April 25th from 9:30 AM to 4 PM for our Wildflower Show. This educational event is free and open to the public. Let us bring the flowers to you. Our keynote speaker this year is Kat Anderson, author of Tending the Wild. The show will feature hundreds of species of wildflowers and native plants from Santa Clara, San Mateo and surrounding counties. This is a family-friendly event with activities for both kids and adults. Other Wildflower Show activities include: workshops (including a bioblitz with Merav Vonshak and Michael Hawk), three native plant nurseries, a seed store, lots of vendors with nature-oriented wares, including Coyote Brush Studios and Simple Wealth jewelry. Live music! Those are just some of the highlights; for a full schedule and list of activities and vendors: https://cnps-scv.org/wfs. The Saratoga Farmer's Market will also be going in the morning, so stop by early and grab some food. The Wildflower Show is sponsored by the California Native Plant Society, Santa Clara Valley Chapter and West Valley College. The West Valley College campus is located at 14000 Fruitvale Avenue in Saratoga. The show will be located in the Biology wing of the Science and Math buildings, which parallels Allendale Avenue. Free parking in lot 2 during the event. For more information: www.cnps-scv.org email: [email protected] or call: 650-260-3450
