Wilderness Kids Alexandria Community Music Festival
The Wilderness Kids Alexandria 2nd Annual Music Festival on September 21, 2024, will feature five local bands playing on the beautiful grounds of Burgundy Farm Country Day School. The entire community is invited--Wilderness Kids students and families, donors and volunteers, fans of each band, and even folks who don't yet know about Wilderness Kids or the incredible musicians playing that day. Who's playing? Local sensations, including:
Hanoi Ragmen
Elizabeth Lane
The Derds
Pink Dog
Fiori
There will be food from Supreme Kebab, treats from Ben & Jerry's, a climbing wall and dunk tank, and crafts for the kids. Admission is free with a suggested donation of $15. Funds raised will go toward Wilderness Kids' work providing life-enriching experiences in nature to teens from under-resourced families and under-served communities in Alexandria. The event is sponsored by Alexandria Toyota and Latham & Watkins, LLP, with additional support from Simpson Development, James Crowe - Compass Realty, and Bagel Uprising.
