Wild Birds Unlimited Grand Opening - LIVE Birds of Prey!
Wild Birds Unlimited is excited to open a new location serving the Plano and North Dallas community. This store is a partnership between Birdie Miller, owner of the Wild Birds Unlimited store in McKinney, and David Hurt, who has owned the Lovers Lane Wild Birds Unlimited in Dallas for 33 years. Together, they bring decades of experience in backyard bird feeding and a shared passion for connecting people with nature.
Wild Birds Unlimited specializes in high-quality bird seed, feeders, and nature products designed to support local wildlife. More than a retail store, it serves as a resource for education, helping customers create bird-friendly habitats and enjoy birdwatching in their own backyards.
To celebrate, the store will host a free Community Nature Expo on Saturday, April 11 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 19177 Preston Road, Suite 175. The event will feature live birds of prey presented by the Blackland Prairie Raptor Center, along with local wildlife rescue and conservation groups. Plus, we will have door prizes and raffles all afternoon!
This family-friendly event offers a chance to meet local experts, learn about wildlife, and celebrate a new nature-focused business in the community
