Why Backyard Habitat Matters In the Effort to Protect Disappearing Species.
Local habitat - your yard, neighborhood or community open space, is increasingly being called into the effort to address the plight not only of endangered species, but of once common ones that are rapidly disappearing. We will explore habitat at several scales, and how to provide space for the plants and animals that we share the planet within our own backyards. Especially with the changes resulting from a waring climate, there are things we can, and need to do locally to make a difference.
