Join the Chicagoland community as we celebrate all of of our hard working educators with a FREE screening of When It Breaks, 6:30PM May 9th, at Sketchbook Brewing in Skokie. Director, and Chicago resident, Todd Tue will be in attendance. When It Breaks follows veteran educator Konrad Wert as he confronts his own teacher burnout. Committed and passionate about public education and special education, he turns to pertorming music as a means for advocacy and discussion. Stepping away from the classroom and into an RV, he starts a year long tour with his wife and kids to engage teachers, fans, and audiences about the state of education. With unflinching honesty, the film celebrates the joys as well as hardships that come with being an educator. Recommended for audiences 13 and up.
