What was it like to fight in the Revolutionary War?
Dr. Robb Haberman, who teaches American History at Fordham University, will explore the Revolutionary War memoir of James Selkirk, An Irish immigrant who served seven years in the Continental Army during the conflict. Selkirk served in the 2d NY Regiment commanded by Col. Philip Van Cortlandt. Selkirk served in the company of Samuel Treadwell Pell, who is buried in the St. Paul cemetery.
