West Palm Beach Amateur Radio Group 85th Anniversary Event
See amateur radio operators in action operating under simulated emergency conditions.
Visit with the National Weather Service representative from Miami. Receive information on hurricane safety from Palm Beach County and the American Red Cross. The Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control Division will be present with information on what to do with pets during a storm or evacuation.
Other local amateur radio clubs and organizations will be on site to help us celebrate our 85th anniversary and to share information about their clubs and organizations.
There will be exciting door prizes and a 50/50 raffle. There will be food trucks on site at the Cox Science Center and lunch will be available on site from 12 pm to 1pm. We will be located at the STEM building.
