Think you have what it takes to play the real sport of champions? Then join the Washington D.C. Beer Pong League for 8 weeks of competition each Tuesday at McFadden's beginning September 29.
Structure: Leagues have an open format in which teams are free to play whomever they want. A team can play a maximum of 15 games each week.
Scoring: Rankings are determined by number of wins. A team's worst week will be dropped. Tie-breakers are determined by head-to-head record followed by RPI. Teams will be given scorecards to be filled out each week and turned in at the end of play.
Attendance: Teams are not required to show-up every week. Each team will have two members (subs are allowed). Teams are required to play at least 40 games and attend at least 3 weeks to participate in the league championships(Nov. 17th).
Specials: League members can enjoy $1 Miller High Life, $2 Blue Moon, and $5 Jagerbomb specials until close, as well as $0.10 wings until 9 p.m.
Prizes: The winning team will get free entry into the World Series of Beer Pong V in Las Vegas in January (a $1,100 value). Other top league finishers will win $500 in cash. Every player will receive an official league t-shirt.
Cost: Entry to the league is a one time fee: $30 per person before Sepember. 29, and $35 per person on or after September 29. Register early and save $10 on the entry fee!
