Walking Tour with Photographer Rick Kozak
Photographer Rick Kozak will give a guided narrative on Sat. September 27 from 1PM-3PM. He'll discuss some of the photographs on display in his Art of Photojournalism Show at the Los Lunas Museum. This is a great opportunity for visitors to learn about the story behind the camera and what led to the iconic photos on display. Guests can ask questions and learn more about Rick's career, vision, and process. The museum has lots of seating options, so there is no need to stand for long periods.
Rick Kozak won Best in Show in the Los Lunas Museum of Heritage & Arts' 12th Annual Art Show in 2024 for his photograph "Power of the Spirit." His solo show at the Museum runs through Saturday, October 11. The closing reception will be on October 4 from 2-4PM. Mr. Kozak will be in attendance and refreshments will be served.
Mr. Kozak is a national award-winning photojournalist who was based out of Washington, D.C. and did photography for publications such as Insight Magazine and The Washington Times. He wishes to inspire others to use photography to connect with other people and this amazing world.
Admission to the Los Lunas Museum is free and our hours are Tuesday - Saturday, 10AM - 5PM.
