Volunteer for JARC Flower-a-thon: Plant Flowers for People with Developmental Disabilities to Enjoy
The annual JARC Flower-a-thon event to beautify the homes of people served by JARC, a metro Detroit nonprofit organization serving adults with developmental disabilities, is a special springtime tradition for community members in metro Detroit. Volunteers help to pull weeds, lay new mulch, and plant flowers in the garden beds outside the homes of people with developmental disabilities served by JARC in Oakland County. JARC can accommodate individuals or group volunteers. To sign up for Flower-a-thon, contact Jessica Tierney at 248-940-2607 or [email protected]. As part of the sign-up process, you will be assigned to a home to work at and will be provided with details for the event.
