Join us on Wednesday, February 21st, to savor whiskey and oyster pairings while enjoying commentary from the Uncle Nearest brand representative. Uncle Nearest whiskey, the best-selling African-American-owned and founded spirit brand in history, is named after Nathan "Nearest" Green, a formerly enslaved man who is credited with teaching a young Jack Daniel the craft of distilling. The brand, led by master blender Victoria Eady Butler, the great-great-granddaughter of Nearest Green and four-time Master Blender of the Year recipient, has garnered numerous awards, including consecutive "World’s Best" honors from Whisky Magazine and a double gold at the 2020 San Francisco World Spirit Competition.
Your ticket includes light welcome appetizers and a Tin Cup Rye cocktail, followed by three paired "mini-courses" of oysters and Uncle Nearest whiskey.
Cheers!
