The program will feature the 18 singers of Viva Voce with flutist Susanna Loewy and violist Hannah Nicholas. Members of the ensemble will be featured as soloists on the Gerber, Trumbore, Arauco, and Fussell works. Three composers on this program have ties to Haverford, including alum Steven Gerber; Professor Thomas Lloyd, retired Director of Choral and Vocal Studies; and current faculty member Ingrid Arauco, who has written a new work based on the poetry of Gerard Manley Hopkins. This is Viva Voce's third appearance on the Concert Artist Series.
This concert will be held at Haverford College in the Michael Jaharis Recital Hall. Tickets can be purchased in advance here: hav.to/s27, and at the door. Ticket prices are: $20/adults; $15/ seniors; $10/students; $5/children ages 7-17. Free tickets for the tri-college community will be available at the door.
