Victory from the Shadows is the true story of Gary Montague’s eleven years as a residential student, his life on a dryland farm, his use of 300 volunteer readers at UNM during his studies, and his long career at Sandia National Labs before the advent of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The presentation will include a book talk, Power Point presentation, and discussion about finding resources to help live with low vision.
