The extraordinary and visceral San Francisco sound artist Victoria Shen brings her self-built electronics to Honolulu for a rare performance.

1PM - 4PM | WORKSHOP: BUILD YOUR OWN SONIC TOOLS. Victoria opens her creative process in an intimate hands-on workshop where you'll construct your own contact microphones from scratch. Learn how to coax electronic sounds from the world around you and experiment with a group. Attendees will take home their own self-built microphones. Beginners welcome, no experience necessary. Attendees to the workshop are provided a FREE ticket to the performance later in the day.
7PM - 9PM | PERFORMANCE: Experience EVICSHEN live as she channels her raw energy through her arsenal of self-built electronics that defy categorization. This is sound as physical force, existing between ritual and revelation.
