Astra Vein Treatment Center is hosting a Varicose Vein Awareness and Consultation Day at its Avenue U office in Brooklyn, offering local residents an opportunity to learn about vein health and discuss symptoms that may require medical attention.
Leg heaviness, aching, swelling, nighttime cramping, and visible bulging veins can sometimes be associated with venous circulation problems. During scheduled consultations, the medical team will discuss patients' concerns, assess symptoms, and explain whether additional testing is needed.
The event will also help residents understand how varicose veins and other venous conditions are evaluated, including the role of ultrasound imaging and available treatment options. Minimally invasive procedures may also be discussed, depending on individual findings.
