VANCOUVER MALL INVITES THE COMMUNITY TO ITS THIRD ANNUAL ‘COUVE AUTO SHOW’
Vancouver Mall, a lifestyle shopping center in the heart of Southwest Washington’s “Silicon Forest” (www.shopvancouvermall.com), together with Orchards Cars and Coffee, will host the center’s third annual “Couve Auto Show” event on Sunday, June 15th (Father’s Day), from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the north parking lot. The Clark County Father’s Day Car Show was originally hosted by local business owner, Ray Eggert, owner of Pied Piper Pizza, which held the event for over 35 years until Ray retired and sold the business in 2022. Vancouver Mall and Orchards Cars & Coffee partnered to revive the event’s tradition and continue the legacy of community service that Eggert established. This year, the event will feature classic and custom cars, trucks, and motorcycles, and prizes will be awarded in classes that include Sponsor’s Choice, People’s Choice, and Kids’ Power Wheels. During the event, attendees can enjoy live music as well as food and beverages. There will also be raffles and family-friendly entertainment. This event is open to the public and no pre-registration is required to attend. While spectator admission is free of charge, attendees are asked to consider providing a monetary donation to benefit local nonprofit organizations including the Foundation for Vancouver Public Schools and the Evergreen School District Foundation or bring a food donation for the “Fill-the-Flatbed Food Drive” to benefit the Clark County Food Bank. During the event, there will be a raffle featuring dozens of prizes. Attendees can enter to win prizes by purchasing raffle tickets and all of the money raised will go toward the nonprofit fundraiser. There will be a separate 50/50 raffle that will give one lucky winner 50% of the money donated to the raffle, while the other 50% goes toward the fundraiser.
