"Urban Tides: A San Francisco Story" Juried Group Exhibition Opening Reception

This juried group exhibition captures the unique narrative of San Francisco—a city where the pulse of urban energy harmoniously blends with the allure of natural beauty. By featuring over 50 of the Bay Area’s most compelling artistic talents, this event not only offers a prestigious platform at Voss Gallery but also awards 20 of the showcased artists an extraordinary opportunity to magnify their work at the iconic Ferry Building through large-scale banners. "Urban Tides: A San Francisco Story" celebrates the region's enchanting essence and the Ferry Building's enduring legacy as a landmark of innovation, elegance, and a gateway to the heart of San Francisco. Join us in showcasing the dynamic and diverse stories that make the Bay Area an epicenter of artistic excellence. A celebration for the awarded artists will be held during the Ferry Building Day Anniversary event on Friday, July 12th from 5PM - 7PM, followed by an Opening Reception at Voss Gallery on Saturday, July 13th from 5-9PM. The exhibition is on view through August 31, 2024. Gallery hours are Wednesday-Saturday, 12-6PM or by appointment. The Marketplace offers a vibrant collection of primarily local, independently owned shops and restaurants dedicated to the customers they serve. The Ferry Building is committed to the artisan food community and to fostering the values of that community. VOSS GALLERY is a women-owned art gallery in San Francisco’s Mission District established in 2019 by Ashley L. Voss. The gallery features a dynamic exhibition program of solo and thematically organized group shows and socially-conscious projects to benefit the greater community. New exhibitions are presented every four to five weeks and are curated with an emphasis on New Contemporary work by emerging and mid-career artists.
