Peace Economy Project is proud to present Unbroken: Songs for Peace and Change, an evening of music, reflection, and community featuring acclaimed artists Ian Fisher & Raising Daughters. The concert will take place on Friday, September 11, 2026, at Cook Hall on the campus of Saint Louis University.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m., with music beginning at 6:30 p.m. and continuing through 8:30 p.m.
At a time when communities across the nation are grappling with division, violence, and uncertainty, Unbroken offers an opportunity to come together through the universal language of music. The evening will feature original songs that explore themes of peace, resilience, justice, and human connection.
Ian Fisher, known for his thoughtful songwriting and compelling live performances, joins forces with Raising Daughters to create a powerful musical experience that speaks to both personal and collective hopes for a more peaceful future.
"Music has long played a vital role in movements for social change," said Katerina Canyon, Executive Director of Peace Economy Project. "This concert is an invitation to reflect on our shared humanity, honor those affected by conflict and violence, and imagine a future built on cooperation rather than division."
The concert serves as both a community gathering and a fundraiser supporting Peace Economy Project's ongoing work to promote policies that prioritize human needs over militarization. Since 1977, Peace Economy Project has educated the public about the social and economic costs of war and advocated for investments in education, healthcare, housing, environmental sustainability, and community well-being.
