UMass Memorial's Injury Prevention Department is offering a free STOP THE BLEED® course for people interested in learning this life saving skill. With 3 quick actions, you can be trained to save a life. The number 1 cause of preventable death after injury is bleeding. That’s why we want to train you how to STOP THE BLEED®. The American College of Surgeons STOP THE BLEED® campaign has trained over 1 million people including students, teachers, and community groups.
