The Boston Globe has said that Pizzarelli’s vocals and guitar playing are “reinvigorating the Great American Songbook and re-popularizing jazz.” Pizzarelli is not only a bandleader and solo artist, but has recorded with the likes of Natalie Cole, Kristin Chenoweth, Rosemary Clooney, Ruby Braff, and Buddy DeFranco, just to name a few. He’s also appeared on The Tonight Show, Conan, David Letterman, and other popular TV shows. Established as one of the prime contemporary interpreters of the Great American Songbook, Pizzarelli has expanded that repertoire by including the music of Paul McCartney, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Tom Waits, Antônio Carlos Jobim and the Beatles.
The evening takes place on Bistango’s well-appointed open-air patio, where concertgoers will enjoy a beautiful meal, an award winning wine list, and exquisite cocktails.
