San Francisco's hillbomb tradition comes to Twin Peaks! On Saturday, October 11, 2025, experience an exhilarating new community event as participants descend from one of San Francisco's most iconic locations with SFPD coordination and an officially permitted rally.
Starting at 2:00 PM from Twin Peaks Summit (Christmas Tree Point), participants will take an epic route down Twin Peaks Boulevard to Portola Drive, continuing along Mission Street before arriving at the finish line. This scenic descent showcases San Francisco's diverse neighborhoods from the heights of Twin Peaks through the heart of the Mission District.
Official City-Permitted Rally (3:45 PM - 4:30 PM):
Following the descent, join us for an officially sanctioned community gathering at Noe & Beaver Street featuring speakers and music. This rally has received full permits from SFMTA (Permit #1343481), SFPD, and the Entertainment Commission (Permit ECOTE25-407).
Safety & Organization:
SFPD-approved security plan in effect
Coordinated with San Francisco Police Department
Medical staff and safety marshals stationed along the route
Accessibility:
Accessible via multiple MUNI lines (J Church, various Mission Street bus routes)
Wheelchair-accessible viewing areas at rally location
Portable restrooms provided at Noe & Beaver Street

Whether you're on a skateboard, bicycle, or other wheeled device, this is your chance to experience one of SF's most thrilling descents from Twin Peaks to the Mission. Participants assume responsibility for their own safety and should wear appropriate protective gear.
For Spectators:
Multiple viewing locations along the route from Twin Peaks Boulevard through Portola Drive and Mission Street offer spectacular photo opportunities. Watch as participants navigate the elevation changes, showcasing San Francisco's street sports community in action.
Community Rally Details:
The officially permitted rally at Noe & Beaver Street will feature community speakers, amplified sound (Entertainment Commission approved), and a celebration of San Francisco's diverse community and solidarity with Palestine.
