The workshop will center on women from Tulsa’s history who have shaped Tulsa’s cultural and social landscape. Participants will receive prompts, reflection questions, and tools to create their own zines inspired by these historical figures. The workshops will be interactive and educational, fostering a deeper connection to creativity and to Tulsa’s rich history. Tulsa’s Hidden Heroines will feature: Maria Tallchief, Nancy Randolph Davis, and Bessie Coleman.
