Trout Lake Hike
Our 2.8-mile loop will follow the lake shore for a short while before heading up the Rich Mountain Carriage Trail. Elevation gain is 290. The hike includes one of the few remnant old growth forests in the area, some beautiful second-growth woods, and tops out at a wonderful open meadow. The hike is expected to last about 2-3 hours. There is the option to extend the hike if all participants are interested. Families are welcome! Children are to be accompanied by and supervised by a parent or other adult family member. Please, no pets on this hike.
