Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF Pop-Up at Nickelodeon Booniverse in Mall of America®

During the Halloween season, the iconic theme park Nickelodeon Universe® inside Mall of America® transforms into Nickelodeon Booniverse. Anchored by a larger-than-life Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF box, guests will receive their own Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF box for Halloween and enjoy family-friendly activities including a photo booth, games, and crafts. The pop-up will feature a “hero” station inspired by Nickelodeon’s Our World, the brand’s global kid empowerment initiative. Trick or Treat for UNICEF got its start in 1950 when a handful of kids in Philadelphia collected change in milk cartons – $17 that first year – to help children in post WWII Europe. Over the years, the campaign grew into millions of children bringing little orange boxes with them on Halloween night to collect coins while trick-or-treating. Generations later, Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF has raised nearly $200 million for lifesaving programs for children around the world, providing health care, nutrition, emergency relief and more. Now, in its 75th year, we celebrate this American tradition by inviting partners and supporters to participate in a month of giving, showcasing the power we have to make a difference when we come together.
