Join us for the opening reception and artist talk for Sarah Knight's 'Transmutations.' Reception is open to the public, with refreshments and music provided.
As a research-based artist, Sarah's practice hinges on the material properties of melting stone, sublimation, off gassing, and shattering. Geology, topography, cartography, minerology, and mythology all play a central role in Knight’s exploration of material. “My practice dissolves labels, to allow queerness to seep into my installed spaces.”
