Toyota Lecture Series: Daniel Liden
The next generation of designers is in a unique position to redefine what is considered good, authentic and desirable product design. This lecture by Daniel Liden, a Copenhagen-based designer and author of “Better Things: Materials for Sustainable Design”, will question whether it’s even possible to talk about design in those terms if it doesn’t take sustainability into account. Exploring a wide range of creative approaches for reducing the environmental impact of product design, the lecture will also introduce an exhibition of exciting new work on circular materials by College for Creative Studies students.
