Town of Dumfries Celebrates 50th Annual Holiday Parade
The Town of Dumfries is thrilled to announce its 50th Annual Holiday Parade, a landmark event filled with holiday magic and community spirit, happening on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 10 a.m. The parade begins at Old Triangle Road and concludes at Town Hall on Main Street, where the festivities will continue with special performances.
This golden anniversary celebration themed, “Destination Christmas in Dumfries, promises to dazzle audiences with unforgettable sights and sounds, including a show-stopping performance by the incredible Bowie State University Marching Band. Known for their electrifying routines and exceptional talent, the band will have you dancing in your seat! But that’s not all—get ready for a lineup of vibrant floats, car clubs, community organizations, and plenty of candy for all to enjoy. As the parade reaches its grand finale at Town Hall, the excitement continues with live performances that are sure to spread even more holiday cheer.
