It’s been 99 years since a total solar eclipse plunged the Bristol Hills into absolute darkness, and it will be another 120 years before it happens here again. Get ready for this once-in-a-lifetime experience with an expert guide, NASA “ambassador” James Porter, two weeks before the April 8 eclipse. Hear from this veteran spacecraft engineer what to expect, why our region will find itself in such a narrow band of total darkness as it crosses North America, and how to view it safely.
