Three-Course Christmas Dinner at Antlers Lodge
Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa is hosting a three-course Christmas Dinner at the newly-renovated Antlers Lodge.
The prix fixe menu will start with a chef’s seasonal amuse bouche of caramelized fresh figs with chile maple bacon and whipped goat cheese, followed by a French-style onion soup and field greens winter salad with pomegranate, local feta and apple cider vinaigrette. The entrée selections will feature a choice of herb-roasted prime rib, Dijon-crusted rack of lamb, roasted breast of duck or wild mushroom wellington.
Family-style sides include crispy Brussel sprouts with roasted walnuts, pomegranate and maple-soy glaze, whipped golden potatoes, roasted baby carrots with orange balsamic reduction and citrus zest, and charred haricot verts with crisp Asian pears and caramelized lemon sumac vinaigrette. To conclude the meal, diners will select from a chocolate and raspberry layered cake or a gluten-free cranberry panna cotta with white chocolate chai streusel.

In addition to the holiday dining, Hyatt Regency Hill Country is providing the “Tinsel Tavern” holiday lounge featuring a jam-packed schedule of seasonal fun. Upcoming activities include a golf cart drive-in Christmas movie screening, holiday party-themed murder mystery events, holiday-themed pub trivia, ugly Christmas sweater karaoke, and more. The “Tinsel Tavern” is gathering toy donations for Toys for Tots. When people donate an unwrapped toy, they will receive a complimentary draft beer or hot chocolate. They will also be entered into a raffle for a two-night stay at the resort.
Families can also enjoy “S’mores with Santa” events each Friday and Saturday leading into Christmas. Guests will meet and take photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus while making delicious s’mores creations at the oversized lobby fireplace.
