Join us after work every Third Thursday for special extended Museum hours from 5 to 7 p.m.! Explore the exhibitions, enjoy food and drinks in The Star Cafe, and connect to the story of Texas. Different activities are offered each month. Museum garage parking is free after 5 p.m.
Enjoy an evening of creativity and fun with our Textile Makers Night. Explore the world of textiles through hands-on activities, demonstrations, and freestyle recycled crafts. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or a newbie to the world of crafts, this event has something for every skill level.
Museum exhibition galleries will be open for exploration between 5 and 7 p.m. All activities are included in the price of exhibition admission. Onsite exhibition admission ticket sales end at 6:50 p.m.

Freestyle Crafting — Austin Creative Reuse will lead a drop-in freestyle craft to encourage and celebrate your own Imagination Creation. You'll have access to a wide variety of non-traditional craft materials (hello, bottle caps!) and the freedom to follow wherever the inspiration takes you. Finished creations are yours to take home and display with pride!
Screen Printing Demonstration — Learn about the process of screen printing with artist David Espinoza of EternoSteeLo Culture. Visitors will have an opportunity to screen print a commemorative tote bag featuring graphics from the Carros y Cultura: Lowriding Legacies in Texas exhibition.
Craft Corner — Create a decorative yarn star in the Third Thursday Craft Corner with Bullock Museum staff.
