THE YARD AT FISHERS DISTRICT INVITES COMMUNITY TO FALL-A-PALOOZA
The Yard at Fishers District, a mixed-used dining, retail, entertainment and residential development just outside Indianapolis in Fishers, Indiana (www.yardatfishersdistrict.com), invites the community to Fall-A-Palooza on Saturday, October 4th, from noon to 3 p.m. in The Yard. This year’s event is sponsored by Indy Ignite, Indianapolis’ professional women’s volleyball team, which will bring high-energy fun to the celebration with branded giveaways, volleyball-themed games, an enter-to-win gift pack that includes courtside tickets to an upcoming game, and a special appearance by Pepper, the team’s beloved mascot. During Pepper’s visit, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., kids will be invited to decorate a pumpkin to look like Pepper; the contest winner will receive a Pepper hat, keychain and t-shirt. Guests can also enjoy live music and plenty of fall entertainment, including face painters, balloon twisters and a stilt walker. The event will also feature seasonal refreshments from an apple cider bar and a scenic harvest horse and carriage ride. Children can decorate mini pumpkins they select themselves from a pumpkin patch sponsored by real estate firm Engel & Völkers or enjoy other crafts such as creating scarecrow treat bags. Additional fall activities like pumpkin rolling, apple stacking and gunny sack races will round out the day. This event is free of charge and open to the public; no pre-registration is required.
