Please join us for two concurrent exhibitions featured her at The Center for Art in Wood. Wendy Maruyama: The wildLIFE Project address poaching and the illegal ivory trade which has all but decimated the elephant population and exemplifies the artist's shift beyond traditional studio craft and education to advocacy.
Complementing The wildLIFE Project is Beyond the Trees, works by Dorothy Gill Barnes and Dona Look who both work closely with salvaged trees and bark creating large scale installations and elegant vessel forms.
